Nitrile rubber (NBR) is produced by emulsion polymerization of butadiene and acrylonitrile. Its products exhibit excellent oil resistance, high abrasion resistance, and good heat resistance. It is made from high-quality NBR with other additives through refined processing; it contains no protein, is non-allergenic to human skin, non-toxic, harmless, strong, durable, and has good adhesion.
Nitrile rubber is produced by emulsion polymerization of butadiene (H₂C=CH-CH=CH₂) and acrylonitrile (H₂C=CH-CN), primarily using a low-temperature emulsion polymerization method, combining the properties of both homopolymers. The butadiene component imparts elasticity and cold resistance to the copolymer, while the acrylonitrile component is highly polar. The -CN groups give the copolymer excellent chemical resistance, especially oil resistance (referring to alkane oils).
Nitrile gloves are widely used in household chores, electronics, chemical, aquaculture, glass, food processing, and other industries for protective purposes, as well as in hospitals and scientific research.
